In an interview with Nadeem Malik on SAMAA TV, Sheikh Rashid said that if the Baqar Najfi report was made public, then PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri would demand the Sharifs' trial. "This was a barbaric act committed by the Sharifs against PAT workers when 14 people were martyred," he said. "It was great injustice to have pregnant women shot in the face," he added. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that several important persons would become approvers and give testimonies against the Sharifs if the Model Town report was made public.
