ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Tuesday expressed the hope that the process of appointing new Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would be completed before October 8.
Talking to media persons at Parliament House, Khursheed Shah said he will hold meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in order to finalize the name for the slot of Chairman NAB.
Opposition Leader said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) did not propose names for Chairman NAB despite being contacted for the purpose.
"I can not stop this process, if PTI and MQM-P don't suggest any names in this connection."
Khursheed Shah said that PTI and MQM-P had protested in the National Assembly on Monday to hide their incompetence in the Senate. - APP
