LAHORE: Pakistani cricketer Fawad Alam was yet again ignored by selectors when he was not picked for the Test squad against Sri Lanka despite his ongoing stellar form and impressive fitness.
Fawad Alam is one cricketer who has performed in the First Class consistently, scoring centuries and taking wickets one after the other. However, he was once again ignored by selectors and Haris Sohail was chosen to be Misbah-ul-Haq's replacement in the Test squad of the national cricket team.
Former batting great and ex-Pakistan cricket team coach Javed Miandad also slammed selectors for the decision, praising Fawad Alam's skills as a cricketer.
Fawad Alam has made headlines after performing impressively with the bat in the First Class by scoring 2070 runs at an average of 59.14.
