Khurram Dastagir decides to let go privatization ministry, to keep commerce portfolio

Staff ReportISLAMABAD: Khurram Dastagir Khan resigned as privatization minister on Saturday but will continue to serve as state commerce minister, SAMAA reports quoting sources.Sources said that Khurram Dastagir sent his resignation to the prime minister. He resigned due to dual portfolios of privatization and commerce ministries.Dastagir will continue to serve as minister of state for commerce.However, sources said that Dastagir is also likely to be elevated to full-fledged commerce minister soon. – SAMAA
