Weather forecast: Hot spell likely countrywide

ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours, according to Meteorological Department.      However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Zhob divisions, upper FATA, Islamabad and Kashmir. Temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday morning: Islamabad  twenty-seven degree centigrade, Karachi twenty-nine, Lahore twenty-eight,   Peshawar thirty, Quetta twenty-three,  Gilgit twenty-one, Murree nineteen  and Muzaffarabad twenty-five degree centigrade. Synoptic Situation: Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Weak moist currents from Arabian sea are penetrating upper parts of country. A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country and its adjoining areas. Weather Forecast for next 12 hrs: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, FATA, Islamabad and Kashmir.
