Weather forecast: Showers likely in country

ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours as Met Office also predicted light rains in Karachi today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday). The Met Office said no heavy downpours are likely in the Karachi. However, rain-thundershowers with gusty winds are expected at few places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Zhob divisions, upper FATA and Kashmir. Temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday morning was:- Islamabad and Karachi twenty-nine degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar thirty-one, Quetta twenty-three, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad twenty-two and Murree nineteen degree centigrade. –SAMAA/APP
