Pakistan Embassy in Oman announced that Salalah will connect with Karachi and Sialkot on March 30 and April 1 respectively by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) The embassy announced that approximately 65,000-70,000 Pakistanis live in Dhofar region and will benefit from the connectivity. Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman Ali Javed paid a visit to the Headquarters of Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) in Muscat on Wednesday and met the Chief Executive Officer of Public Authority of civil aviation Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi. The ambassador appreciated the existing bonds of mutual cooperation between Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and PACA. Javed lauded the successful launch of Oman’s new Airline Salam Air and welcomed its operations to Pakistan. He stated that aviation sectors of Pakistan and Oman will play a key role in boosting the bilateral ties between the two countries. Al Zaabi lauded the initiatives taken by the two governments and appreciated the services of the Pakistani Embassy in boosting the bonds of friendship.
