Dry spell likely to continue in next 24 hours in country

ISLAMABAD: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, according to Met Office. However, light rain and snowfall over the hills is likely at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Foggy conditions are expected to continue over plain areas of Punjab and Sindh during night and morning hours. Minimum temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday morning: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 2 degree centigrade, Lahore 8, Karachi 14, Peshawar 3, Quetta -8, Gilgit -2 and Murree -5 degree centigrade. --APP
